  • Buy the 2011 remaster.

I'm not a Queen fan - in fact I dislike every album from this point. But Queen II from 1974, before they achieved fame & fortune is a great record, their high watermark in my opinion: heavy but melodic, some inspirational writing and playing, all foreshadowing their demise into the intellectual obscurity of chart territory. Just an opinion. However, this 2011 remaster is certainly worth checking out - the best sound I've ever experienced on either LP or CD.

  • Queen on the rise

Prior to their great success with the albums Sheer Heart Attack and the masterpiece A Night At The Opera, Queen released this good example of sound and lyrics, typical for this particular rock band. The better tracks are the emphatic Father To Son, and the seductive Some Day One Day, both by Brian May. All songs are written by May and Mercury, except the steady and rhythmical Loser In The End, a track unmistakably written and sung by Taylor.

  • Queen II rocks!

The album is remastered. Most songs sound better maybe 1 or 2 don't. Overall I happy with it and feel like I should've bought it sooner. It Rocks!
