The Quick Release Plate would go on or come off very easy.
At first, I thought that the head had been damaged and that I bought a damaged product. I took the top part of the head off and found a layer of what looked and felt like sticky syrup between the the pieces. I cleaned it well and the plate now slides on and off as designed.
