HP have really let themselves down with this printer
Connecting the printer is not difficult. It is supplied with a DVD with drivers, but the DVD does not run under Windows 10! But you can just Add Printer and as long as it is networked and you know the IP address you can find it quite easily. It then prints a colour test page. But that’s where it gets tricky! It’s an A3 printer but it’s set to default to A4, so you have to change it. It’s a colour printer, but it’s set to default to black and white! So you have to go through the menu and change it. But then it still prints in black and white! On the internet are lots of similar complaints. HP recommend refreshing the driver. Didn’t help. They recommend changing the type of printer manually from auto to colour. But on the driver status screen it still says colour =no! A week later I’m still struggling and will think twice before buying an HP printer again! I bought it because it had to be the safest option. I am sure it will work eventually. But HP have really dropped the ball, and I am frustrated and disappointed in them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
