Using the front USB input, you can play songs stored on any kind of USB memory device, such as a flash drive or an older mp3 player without a Bluetooth connection. The large, rotary manual volume control tuner of the Clarion CX501 receiver unit makes operation comfortable. The Beat EQ function allows you to customize the range and level of the bass, setting the audio sound of radio or HD radio to exactly the balance you desire. The unit also comes with six output channels so you can connect the Clarion CX501 to various types of other audio systems. The Clarion CX501 CD player receiver will look handsome in your double-DIN dash opening, and you can tailor the look to your vehicle’s interior by choosing from 728 possible illumination colors on the display. Stay ready for the open road with iPod and iPhone control, built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calls, music streaming, and a 2-line display. The Clarion CX501 receiver also features a CD player with AM/FM tuner and a built-in amplifier, and it plays CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs as well as discs loaded with mp3 and WMA files. A remote control is included for additional functionality. The Clarion unit is also set with CATS, the Clarion Anti-Theft System, and can be set with a PIN code or personal code to prevent disabling the operation of the unit at the moment of theft. The code is easy to select and change, and instructions for how to change the personal code are in the owners manual.
