SynopsisMeredith's newest edition of Project Management focuses on all facets of the steps needed to successfully manage a project - from planning and resources to budgeting and more. An important goal is to appeal to help those preparing to take the PMBOK certification exams of the Project Management Institute. Revisions for the 8th Edition include a more consistent writing style throughout, content updates in some chapters, additional examples of some concepts to make them easier to grasp, and improved visual elements to make the textbook and online resources easier to understand and navigate., As the use of project management to accomplish organisational goals continues to grow, skills related to understanding human behavior, evaluating organisational issues, and using quantitative methods are all necessary for successful project management. Meredith and Mantel have drawn from experiences in the workplace to develop a text that teaches the student how to build skills necessary for selecting, initiating, operating, and controlling all types of projects.
While I did receive the correct book....it was a soft cover version which the picture shows the hard cover. It is exactly to book I needed but I was paying for a hard cover version so I am disappointed with the deception from point of sale.
