Exactly what I expected and wanted
I have a 32-year history with Sunpak flashes. I've owned many and they have never disappointed me. Any time I shop for flashes, if the Sunpak lists the features I'm looking for, I don't hesitate to make the Sunpak brand my choice. I did my research before selecting the RD2000, comparing its specifications to several other brands. What I wanted was a very small Nikon-dedicated flash that gives me a little more reach indoors and out and a little better fill for outdoor shots. It adds so little to the size and weight of the camera that I hardly notice it is there; but, you have to bear in mind that my camera is a full-frame, professional grade Nikon D800 with vertical battery grip and the 24-120mm f/4 zoom lens so that is mostly the reason I don't notice the addition of this tiny flash. I also really like the fact that the flash foot folds completely in so the flash slides easily into my shirt pocket with room to spare.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An excellent travel companion flash, especially if using an extension cord is a must.

Great little flash unit.
It has a low profile, can be angled, and has a built-in difuser. You can also adjust the brightness up or down. Hard to find a better flash for the money. The little flash you always carry is better than the big one you leave at home.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
