    good lens

Took it out for a few test shots this weekend. It performed as I was expecting. Auto-Focus was slow and quirky when zoomed to 300mm but worked much better at lower focal lengths. I will probably use a tripod and manual focus with this lens anyway, so that won't be an issue. I shoot mainly lanscapes so there is no real need for speed. I have other lenses for that. Image quality was excellent. I will get some milage out of this lens.

    Nice zoom on a budget

A little chunky for the micro four thirds platform (with adapter), and has trouble finding focus handheld. Overall a good value and great zoom starter. I would have saved for the micro 75-300 if I had to do it over.

  • Good llong-range lens for the money..

This is a good long-range lens for the money. Used mine with a micro 4/3rds adapter for my Olympus OMD E10 Mark II. It is not a great low light lens - hunts a bit in auto focus, but in normal daylight it is very acceptable. Images are sharp up to about 200mm and becomes a bit soft in the longer ranges. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

  • Olympus 70-300mm lens

Great value for money. I was supprised at how sharp this lens is. I've used it with the E-PM2, E-PL1 and a Lumix GF3 and it functions well on all cameras. When zoomed out you'll need a Tripod. It needs an adapter to use with micro 4/3 body but gives 140-600mm reach on the mft censor. Focus is a little noisy. It does not have a tripod lens collar. That would make it ideal. Still great value and performance.

  • Great lens with a very long reach, for very little money. And it looks awesome.

On my Olympus Micro Four Thirds Bodies, this lens is the full-frame equivalent to a 150-600mm lens. Great for wildlife and birding, because the autofocus is very fast. Image quality is better than I expected for a lens at this price, and it renders colors beautifully, even at the long end. The con is that an adaptor is required to use on Micro Four Thirds bodies

  • Great performance at 1/10th the cost.

I am using this lens with a zuiko to m-zuiko adapter mounted to my OMD E M10 Mark 2. Focus is quick and accurate. I get performance comparable to the MZuiko ED 75-300 at one tenth the cost!

  • Affordable telephoto lens

Bought it to experiment with longer-range telephoto for my M4/3 Olympus. Works with 4/3 to M4/3 adapter. Autofocus is a bit slow, Lens is very suitable for my purpose, which is primarily shooting still or static subjects. I like that the lens comes will attach to a tripod or monopod. Build quality is high. Very affordable. Performance is consistent with reviews

  • No Complaints Here

This lens is very sharp, terrific “bang for the buck.” It has turned out some nice macros, and rendered some great shots of a nautical “situation “ hand held on an E510. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with this, especially not for the price.

  • Excellent light weight telephoto lens

An excellent lens for photos while bird watching or other similar hand held magnification activities. The 4/3 mount doubles the capability making it a 140-600 mm lens.

  • Great value!

A little heavy but solid feeling. A little bit soft wide open, but very sharp at f/8. Works great with my Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II using an electronic adapter. Good bang for the buck.
