I bought this lens as a replacement to the kit lens that came with our Camera (Cannon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II). This is not only a great replacement but an incredible upgrade as well! As Good As Any, Unless Money is No Object
I wanted to buy a Zeiss lens of equivalent specs, because I was impressed with the sharp focus and color, but after studying on the internet, I decided that this Tamron lens at about half the price is only slightly less in the quality.
