Love This Film
Love this film. Great performances by Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, and of course, Billie Whitelaw as Mrs. Baylock. The novel has a lot more back story to explain character motives, but the film does a great job bringing the story to screen. Jerry Goldsmith's score is fantastic. Special Edition DVD includes commentary from director Richard Donner, which was very informative and humorous. As far as horror films go, there's no real gore. It actually feels more like a thriller with supernatural undertones. Maybe a bit "dated" by some people's standards, but it hits the spot for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
