The Nikon Zoom-Nikkor lens is a zoom lens with automatic and manual focus designed for exclusive use with the Nikon SLR models with body controlled aperture.The Nikon Zoom-Nikkor lens features ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass elements which minimises chromatic aberration. Using this zoom lens gives the user a low distortion due to the asperical lens and out of focus elements appear more natural as the lens has a rounded diaphragm. Due to the Nikon D type design, the Nikon F/3.5-5.6 lens provides precise distance information for the light exposure processes, both ambient and flash. Ghost and flare problems are reduced when using the Nikon Zoom-Nikkor lens due to the Nikon Super Integrated Coating which also ensures a high quality colour reproduction. This lens is compatible with D1X, D1H, D100, F5, F100, N80, N75, N65 and N55. It can focus at distances as short as 200 mm. Better body balance and smoother focusing are standard with the Nikon F/3.5-5.6 lens due to internal focusing.
