One of my top ten albums of this Era, sounds as good as the Day it was made, glad to have it in my collection once again.

Whilst I can appreciate and enjoy most styles of music, I've never been a "rocker". However, I went to see an AC/DC tribute band recently, and they were great, which got me researching the band. They have a catalogue of great tunes, but I wanted to see what they were like in the early days, when bands are often at their rawest. This live remastered CD sums up AC/DC perfectly - raw energy, power, and great riffs. Bonn Scott on vocals and Angus Young on lead guitar are unbeatable. This is a must buy.
This is the very finest AC/DC album from the Bon Scott era, some would say the finest period in their existence. This digitally remastered album really brings to life the 1978 world tour which established the band at the forefront of Heavy Rock. The whole set from Riff Raff to The Rocker is fantastic. There is even some great what used to be called "rock & roll a' boogie" what ever that means- I always thought this was rock music you could dance to (if you had drunk enough!). This is a stunning cd of a band at the very top of their game, and a suitable epitaph to the only rock singer Australia has ever produced the fantastic Bon Scott. If you like heavy rock and you have not got this in your collection' treat yourself to one of the classic live rock albums of all time.
Bought this to replace 33rpm, was at both venues in Scotland on the nights these tracks were recorded. First re mastered live cd i've bought, not as good as studio albums, but definately took me back, my fingers never stopped playing along with Angus and Bon scott is the King of AC/DC.Would recomend
This album is a true classic, still sounds as fresh today as it did in 1979. Many acts today who can cut it in the studio, but are complete sh**e on stage (kaiser chiefs to name but one) would do well to listen to this. The sheer power and raw energy of the band clearly shines through, the songs taking on a new life of their own. It's one of the best live albums ever and in my view miles better than the legendary live from atlantic. If you don't own this already - YOU SHOULD!
