By far this is not the largest box seat but for the price is very good value. I regularly go sea/boat fishing and this box holds 2 large reels + 2 smaller ones but don't expect to also get your sandwiches in. I live local to the charter port so my reels are already set up on the rods creating enough space for the compulsory crisp/biscuits + not forgetting bait. I also never put my weights (up to 2lb each) in my boxes as i carry them in a hessian bag. This evens me up carrying the box on one shoulder and the weights in the other hand. Quality is good but the 4 inner lid compartments are not up to much, i would have preferred 4 x boxes that i could remove. The box catch pins look a little flimsy but could always be changed out for something more substantial. All in all this is a smaller box seat than the big boys but under half the price allowing for the compartmental tray included. It works for me on all levels. Tight lines and happy fishing.Read full review

Good sturdy little tackle box, and although dimensions given are accurate, I`m afraid it is too small to accommodate my sea tackle for boat fishing. The compartments on the underside of the box lid aren`t very practical, when the lid is open. Would be o.k. for fishing on shore, but could do with being bigger.

I decided after many years to cut down the amount of gear I take on a boat trip, and this seat/tackle box seemed ideal. It's brilliant, and takes a surprising amount of gear! I had four multiplier reels (7000 size) in the main compartment along with a full size rig wallet, two knives, large booms, a large priest, spools of leader and a hand towel. The four compartments in the lid are great for beads and swivels etc, and the lids remain closed. The main accessory compartment has adjustable dividers and stored a large selection of Shads and hooks. I've looked at buying one of these boxes for years and from the images, I always thought the green coloured top was a cutting board, but it's actually a thin piece of foam. I also thought looking at the shoulder strap bracket that there should have been some quick release connectors and these were missing. The design would make you believe that the shoulder strap was meant to pop on and off, however, looking at the product images, that's not the case. All in all it's a cracking tackle box and I wished I'd bought one sooner.Read full review

Go out on the loch boat fishing a few times a year and instead of flimsy backpacks I tried this, absolutely brilliant, fits my tackle, multiplier, spare reel and lunch. Makes life much easier. I'd recommend to anyone.

light in weight for carrying. Ample storage space in main compartment, with great boxes inside the lid for hooks end tackle etc. and a good sized divided compartment. All in all a great tackle box for a reasonable price
