A light read in which you get to know the characters and enjoy the mysteries they uncover. Clever the way the end of the book gives a taste of the next and leaving you wanting to know the outcome.

I purchased Agatha Raisin and the Fairies of Fryham paperback by M C Beaton because i was recently given one of her other novels and found it very enjoyable to read. I love murder mystery stories and the Agatha Raisin series centres around a middle aged woman, who is confident on the outside but feeling old and unloved underneath. She is a private detective, who seems to unwittingly stumbles across murder or missing items. This book is equally as good as the previous one I have read and I look forward to collecting the entire Agatha Raisin series of books. Long may she reign.
as ever, most enjoyable,I like the way Agatha always seems to blunder into murderous mayhem. I am reading the whole series, I started at " The quiche of death ", and I hope the next one is just as good
