Great film footage and an enthusiastic narrator be it that he sounds like he's describing prizes on a 1970's quiz show. The big let down is the sound editor was on a tea break. Awful cheap 'tinny' lift music played on a 2nd hand portable Casio keyboard or overbearing classical background music becomes foreground music that the narrator fights to be heard over. Excessive unnecessary add-on engine and flight sound effects totally swamp the narration. Informative and visually well edited, almost ruined by the continuous cacophony of noise pollution trying to add realism. We don't need colour to appreciate Laurel and Hardy,in fact that robs us of the charm,so drowning this documentary in audio soup made it all the less realistic. 4.5/5 for visuals, minus -328/ 5 for sound. Mr Laurel would have made it a masterpiece!Read full review
