I wanted to read the book before viewing the new movie. And the book was an insight to the harrowing truths of persecution upon those who were struggling from day to day. An exceptional account of varying characters who faced challenges within their lives. The accounts of the time spent in prison was truly eye-opening. Quality of the book was as expected, perfectly fine and legible. Great value for money, productwise and in terms of readability.

When first hearing about this books content, and how the author firstly wrote it and then smuggled it out of prison, is a fantastic story that is worthy of a film by itself; however tempted you are to read, what is very probably, an engrossing story in its native language, to me fails to be readable when translated into English.
