The best box set version of this amazing series!
A quick review for those trying to work out which version of the Angel box set to get! It took me ages to track down this set (blue box, flip top lid, booklet, five series sets) but totally worth the hunt. Box set presentation is excellent, looks great, picture quality as originally presented, no adverts etc and is a perfect partner match to the brown Buffy box set. If you can find this version... I’d never watched the TV series up until a few months ago, but after watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer I had to watch this. It’s very good; dark in places too, and also comedic in parts. The main characters all engage and “bounce” off each perfectly. When I saw the Collectors’ Edition of the complete set of DVDs come up for sale I just had to buy it.
