Excellent upgrade on previous generation
The new and improved Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2 are a vast improvement on the previous generation offerings from Apple. The Magic Keyboard, with a shorter key travel and a new key mechanism, allows for a much more assured and faster typing experience. The built in rechargeable battery lasts ages. If the keyboard needs charged, just plug it in and it continues to function when connected via wire. The Magic Mouse 2 looks pretty much the same as the original, except just like the Magic Keyboard, it has a built in rechargeable battery, which, just like the Magic Keyboard, lasts ages between charges. When it does need charged, either plug it in over night or a quick 15 minutes will give you enough charge to see you through a few days before giving it a full recharge. Great keyboard and mouse
The keyboard feels nice, better than most keyboards. I used to have a mechanical keyboard before this which felt slightly nicer but not much. I prefer the size of this one. The mouse is nice, I love the touch on the top, but might not be to everyones taste. The battery life is really good! The mouse loses about 15% charge after 10 days use and the keyboard about 10% so should last a couple of months between charges. Would recommend!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Light touch keyboard and responsive mouse
Typical Apple high quality. Rechargeable is a good feature but could be a problem with the mouse as it can't be charged and used at the same time. Keyboard feels less "clunky" than previous version and much lighter to the touch enabling easy touch typing. Mouse feels even smoother than previous model. Ideal for laptop
Does what it says on the box. I use it with my laptop on a box so that the screen is at eye level and the keyboard/mouse are at the right height. My posture is better and I don't get a sore neck. The keys are a delight to touch, and the mouse is responsive so it's easy to use on most surfaces. The only downside is that the mouse doesn't have all the same gestures as the trackpad on my laptop, and I miss some of the capabilities like three-finger sideways swipe and two-finger tap to look up a word.
