I don't hear my computer any more. I used these to replace two non-PWM fans on a cheap aftermarket CPU cooler. They manage to keep my CPU at less than 60 degrees (C) while hardly reaching their maximum RPM. The fans are attached in series on the cooler so I've had them reach 2,450 RPM (above rated max) and even then, I can't really hear them unless I'm in the quietest room I can find. Highly Recommended.

Bought this to replace a 3 pin fan which was bought to replace an original fan in an old Dell desktop. I noticed no difference in noise in any of the fans & the CPU temperature is also exactly the same for all of them. This one is cheap & has worked well in the couple of months I've had it, but in my experience it is not quiet & so I can only give it 3 stars.

It really doesn't matter the exact type. ASA 5520 or 5540 have the small thus loud fans. If you can afford to have your firewall working without cover, you can in a very simple way make it silent. Buy two Arctic F8. They will cover the whole ASA's radiator. Disconnect the original fans and in that place connect two new one. And voila... powerfull firewall at home is at hand :)

Have been using them for about 6 weeks now,and very pleased to say they do perform as they claim in their advertising, nice cool Air-Flow all around your PC, worth every penny, most certainly recommended.

used these for years its my go too brand off fans for these reasons. 1. silent at low to mid speeds even at full they are not bad at 1100rpm and low there is zero noise emited from the case. 2. speed control by motherboard. 3. looks good. 4. cheap 5. lasts
