These lightweight carders are very easy to use even for people with weak wrists and hands. It is best not to overload the brushes with wool but to use smaller amounts at a time. Complete blending can take a little time but it is well worth the effort. Very reasonably priced and extremely useful as part of your fibre art kit.

I bought these because I find the larger carders difficult to use. These are just the right size, larger than dog brushes, and so will do slightly more wool at a time. They look to be well made and finished, as with all Heidi Feathers stuff.

Ok, work quite well, but these are flat. Well made though with a good weight and balance. ie: They feel good in the hands while working and not too clumsy at all. This was one of the things that concerned me about these carders because the facings are flat. But l am pleased with them. I have to add in all honesty though, that I still find my very old curved-back carders easier to use.
