great cd if you like Soft cell and marc Almond been to see him twice this year . he is still as good as ever .I went to Wiltons music hall in london and to Manchester Ritz . great soft cell cd
Very average for this duo but still playable. There is nothing there with them in this == nothing original, nothing like ground breaking. The music still belongs to Dave Ball and shame he didn't give us more when they split but Marcs abyss that he travelled for a number of years is there to hear! STILL A BIG TIME FAN OF BOTH THOUGH! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING AND MORE GUYS!
This album charts the successes of the band since its unfortunate breakdown in 1988. It's a really feel-good selection of songs with a lot of style and variation, as befits an album that includes performances from so many prog-rock guitar legends! It is a bit long, but difficult to choose the songs they could have omitted!
Probably the best album Soft Cell ever released. For me, the highlight is the track 'on an up'......heartbreakingly beautiful
if you are a fan of marc and the mambas then you'll be disappointed by this. ballads with no edge or depth
