The Qualcast Classic 35S seems to have a large number of variants. I can't find my model number on the Mower. I could only find one diagram of the assembly. There are several of these for sale on ebay, but whether there are any differences I don't know. So I bought the lowest price item In the event it didn't seem as though the locating pins would fit the holes on this pinion. Maurice was helpful explaining it was a push fit, But it definitely wouldn't fit.I had to drill the holes out fractionally. I also found that the pinion was about 2mm thicker than the original. The mower originally had a large thick washer under the pinion, so I have had to replace it with a very thin one. Cutting along story short - Not an exact fit for my model, but I made it fit with a bit of modification. I don't think these mowers are very reliable.Read full review

The product OK but needed modification in order to make it fit my machine. Anyone with out engineering knowledge and appropriate tools would have needed to return otherwise.

Yes good but had to use the oringinal brass insert to get to fit .

The replacement gear lasted one cut until the teeth completely shredded. Absolutely zero wear on the mating gear, still in perfect condition, but the new gear had zero teeth remaining. Complete waste of time and money.

I have a 35s. The gear wheel was thicker than the one fitted, by approx 0.06” and the three holes that locate on to the pins were too small and had to be drilled out.
