Positives Outshine the Negatives
On the negative side: Sometimes difficult to receive the exact-set time signal from Boulder, Colorado, at least in my area. The Daylight Savings Time setting is NOT automatic. You have to remember to manually turn DST on and off. Otherwise, the clock will display a one-hour difference from the actual time depending on the month of the year. Alarm set-time doesn't remain visible. Clock reverts to the time-of-day (a.m. or p.m.) seconds after setting the alarm. Therefore, you have to remember at what time you set it because the alarm time isn't displayed anywhere, unlike the other settings. Wish it came with some kind of soft case.
On the positive side: Nice, large, easy-to-see display that has a pleasing blue glow that stays on for about five seconds after pressing the top snooze/light button--not too bright and not too dim. Readout also shows a time-zone map and exact-set icon--plus the date, month, day of the week, and temperature (Fahrenheit or Celsius) in a smaller display at the bottom. Built-in stand holds the clock upright on any flat horizontal surface. Overall, this clock has the solid feel of a high-quality product.
