As above, good story, book arrived on time but the used copy is clearly old, the spine glue weakened and the pages no longer securely fixed. That didn’t stop me reading it but I had to be careful.

This captivating story is beautifully written by Ian McEwan. I’m not the best at writing book reviews, but when I saw others had rated it ‘average’, I felt it deserved more stars. The film was good and the book was certainly better, more memorable. Check out reviews on ‘Goodreads’.
