At one time in my youth fiddling around with cars was no problem, servicing, repairs all so easy. Now a days I'm reluctant to even lift the bonnet. I think my generation was a mechanical one. If it moved you could see it and usually understand it, but now you need to be a computer expert to maintain a car. The reason why I purchased this item was because my engine light had come on. I dropped it off at my local garage and when I picked it up I was advised that they could not find a problem but had reset the codes and if it happened again let them know. Everything has been fine but I decided to get one of these gadgets anyway. A couple of days ago the engine light came on again so I plugged this in. It came up with a code P0401. Something to do with the exhaust circulation. So, it has been beneficial in as much that I know what the problem is; now I need to find out how to fix it. 🥴Read full review

Hi, I'm not one for bad reviews, but I used this on 5 different vehicles new and older, and all different makes/models, it only seemed to work on an 2007 Audi A41.8t. I'm I'm completely honest I would not recommend this to anyone and I wish I people in the reviews was honest. Cheers

Good piece of kit, straight forward plug-and-play, easy enough for braindeads. Helped me alot big time - had to erase the codes to get my motor to run properly + good for diagnostics. Dos show live data. Would I buy it again if didn't had one? Definitely YES!!!

Having bought a cheaper scanner in the past. I was getting frustrated that the engine managment light kept coming, and the same generic code kept showing. And even after removing the code would come back on straight away. But with this scanner you have a much more detailed information, which pointed me to the correct problem, which turned out to be a bad connection on my air flow sensor. I also like the way it will scan your vehicle as you are driving it, and show a detailed report of any issues. Including if your Catalitic Converter is function as it should. Well worth the price to keep in your car, to turn off annoying engine managment warnings, which can be something as simple as not doing up your fuel filler cap sercurly. £30 well spent.
