I used to use Ronseal Brushing Wax for scratches or marks on my pine furniture - but they've stopped making it. I was getting a bit desperate as my sideboard badly needed a good waxing, when I spotted this Briwax and thought I'd give it a try. I didn't feel very confident ... But it's just as good - if not better - than the Ronseal. Very easy to use. And it makes scratches and 'dings' on wood almost disappear. Very pleased with my find.

Decent reliable wax for wood, though a bit pungent initially. Contains toluene, so can irritate hand skin in some people: -wear plastic gloves when applying!

Very easy to use but would be better supplied with disposable gloves due to smell and colour.q

Great for pine, easy to apply. I bought two tins recently from two different people and the lids won’t go back on, design flaw.
