I like the Beaphar collars very much and used them for dogs in Portugal, I found them very good; bobticks survived on those dogs. However after using the spot on treatment here in the UK I found a tick embedded in my dogs back leg, which caused a trip to the vets and an anti inflammatory jab.

I was going to buy an expensive brand of tick collar, but I have five dogs so looked for a cheaper alternative. I really didn't expect these collars to work. I am in a high tick area, taking 3 or 4 ticks off per dog per day. The collars have been on for two weeks and not one tick!! Even if I had to replace them every three months they are still saving me a fortune! Would definitely recommend 😁

so easy to use and keep fleas at bay, simple to put on and cut to size. i use alongside an 8 wkly flea treatment from vet as my dog has had fleas before after having their liquid flea stuff. i find these help enormously and i have not had a problem with fleas since using these as an extra precaution. they stay in place and do not loosen round neck. does not interfere/get wrapped up with their dog collars either.

Both my greyhounds are wearing these, they fit well and dont seem to come loose. Others have mentioned the smell that is given off by these, yes there is but it soon decreases to an unnoticable level. No fleas!! although not particularly the time of year for them. So far all ok !!!
