What can I say?! This is my 5th purchase from JUNORECORDS , bought it on Tuesday got it Wednesday. Now for the product. It's like all Behringer Pedals , Light and plastic but by no means does that effect whats inside. Ultra Octaver has a fantastic sound , pitch perfect with the option of having the original signal on or off and anywhere in between..You can also change between which tonal area you'd like to effect with Hi , Mid and Low settings switch. Oct 1 increases the amount of signal of the altered sound one octave below and Oct 2 below that. This all gives you a bass accompaniment at you feet!! All in all a really good pedal at a really good price

Everyone knows about Behringer build quality, so no need to go on about it here. But the sound from this pedal is awful. Muddy, breaks up and the effect is very short. No effect on the treble strings. Spent a couple of hours using it on its own, in a chain, different cables, different amps and guitars, tweaked settings all over the shop and still couldn't get a decent sound out of it.

Behringer have produced a bargain octave pedal, costing around £30, ideal for bassists like me who just want one or two songs to have this affect and can’t justify spending £160+ on an MXR. Two octaves below the note are available, though for bass one sounds best. My only beef is the 9V battery set up, which requires faffing around with metal pins to get the cover off and on. Apart from that quibble , a decent buy.

Well worth the money, I use it to emulate a bass and sounds pretty good.
