I bought this as a guide so I could help my learning-disabled adult daughter lose weight while still being able to enjoy tasty food. It is less helpful than some books since it measures food values in "syns" and a Food Optimising code, which I don't understand, having never been to a Slimming World session. There is some explanation of this system in the book but at first glance it doesn't make much sense. However, it has value in that it does offer some lovely recipes so we will use it.
