This is the one you are all looking for, easy echoes of the 60's hip grinding dance themes. These guys were having the time of their lives when they recorded these tunes and so will you when you listen to it. The classic Green Onions is at the right tempo instead of the allegro version that we all despise, then the rest of the listings open up with a cool tempo deliverence subtly flavoured with a few Very bluesy tracks. Ok. so when I got past G'O, I first thought it was 'arcade' music but as the tracks roll on my volume button crept ever more to the right with the car windows rolled down and that my friends says it all. One thing I noticed is that the subtle guitar 'riffs' seem very familiar to me, as a long standing admirer of Pink Floyd, I can only assume that Gilmore grew up listening to Booker T! It's there for you to enjoy, so go on, get this invaluable cd in your rack, you will not be dissapointed. HennwinkleRead full review
