This album was the breakthrough for the American rock outfit. It features 8 blinding rock tracks and of course the immortal "More Than A Feeling".I think this track has featured on compilation tracks more than any other record than I can remember.Strange that it only made the lower reaches of the pop charts here in the UK but it was release at a time that punk rock was just starting to take off. The album has so many great tracks,in fact all of them could have been released as singles and I would say that this album is better than the greatest hits album. The best track for me is "Hitch a ride".It starts of as a beautiful melodic rock song, builds slowly to a fantastic guitar solo that should never end-------Fantastic song that I could listen too again and again. Each track would get no lower than a 9 out of ten,but this track gets 11. To sum up if you like American rock that is not too heavy but can really get to your soul this album wont dissapoint- BUY IT.Below are my ratings for each track 1. More Than A Feeling - 10 2. Peace Of Mind -9 3. Foreplay (Long Time)-9 4. Rock 'n' Roll Band - 9 5. Smokin' - 9 6. Hitch A Ride - 11 7. Something About You - 9 8. Let Me Take You Home Tonight - 9Read full review
Used to have this on cassete, hadn't heard for years then started listening to Planet Rock radio who play Boston regularly - had to have it on CD!
