I had a ball but I did not have a dvd to use with it so I decided to look on ebay for an exercise dvd for using the the ball properly. It looked like an excellent dvd and it was very reasonably priced, in my oppinion, for what I got. The exercises are fantastic and I think that anyone could do them! The first part is like a dance routine using the ball. It sounds silly but this is the fat burning part and it tones you at the same time.It is great.The other routines are the muscle toning exercises and my goodness do they work!!I have found muscles that I didn't know existed!!My leg's and stomache are so painful it's fantastic! I can feel it working and I feel more toned every time I do it and so far I have only done it twice! It is better if you watch it through a couple of times to pick up the exercises but I am quite comfortable sitting on the ball now whilst doing the exercises where as before I kept falling off! It is also fun to do as I keep laughing at myself all the time! In my opinion it is well worth trying it and you do feel the effects after the first time you use it.I also recomend this seller.They sent the dvd very quickly,it was a pleasure to do buisness with them and their dvds are well worth buying.Read full review
I love the 2nd part for legs bums and tums as these are my problem areas, I found that after a few days of exercise my thighs felt firmer, and my stomach is deffinately getting tighter, a good overall workout. I would say though that you need to be reasonably fit to do these exercises though as they are not always easy and a lot of balence is required as well as flexibility, but saying that I really enjoyed this workout and never get bored of the routines as there is also an intermidiate level you can advance to
I've had a gym ball for about 12 months now but found the dvd supplied with it very slow paced, so I was looking for something that looked fun and varied and this dvd fitted the bill. The dvd contains 3 seperate workouts and each workout lasts approx 30 mins, the narrative is a bit annoying, but the workouts are fun and never has 30 mins passed so fast. This really doesn't feel like exercise (until the next day, when I ached a little).
Bought this for an alternative workout on my gymball. Having been used to gentler routines this one seems a little advanced for me but its early days and the routines although fast are fun and would be effective if you can keep up !!
I bought this DVD as I'd recently purchased a gymball and couldn't find an all-round exercise DVD and this looked perfect. I've watched it through once (not the idea, I know!) and given it a go once and it must have worked because EVERYTHING ached the next day! Not had the time to use it much since but I will, honest! One small draw back with this is that you need a fairly big room to exercise in as it involves a lot of side to side steps and holding the ball above your head...I nearly brought our ceiling light down! Hope this helps any prospective purchasers.
