Highly entertaining this 2001 movie has matured like good wine. The stars Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant all play to their strengths and I loved every minute. Some of the scenes have become iconic e.g the marvellous bit where Bridget confesses she left her last job after 'shagging the boss' and the irresistible Neil Pearson replies she'd never lose it in TV, it's practically mandatory there. Then there's the manic group of friends always there supporting her and urging her on even when she serves blue soup and marmalade for pudding. My favourite scene has to be the big pants bit and their kiss in the snow when Bridget informs Mark Darcy(Colin Firth) that nice boys don't kiss like that and he replies ' they f...ing well do!'
