There are various options for replacing the original fob case on Peugeot/Citroen cars many of which require a new blade to be cut. Here's where the problems starts, there are not many key cutting booths that will cut the SX9 blade, a specialist lock smith is needed. I didn't find anyone in the lower north Island of NZ who would cut me a key. Provided your blade is in good condition you can pull it out of the old case (use a vice) and clip it in to this case. Swap the electronics over and your done.

Generally ok, it works, but the plastic casing is a bit flimsy. I have to be careful turning the key in the ignition to make sure the casing holds together - perhaps a blob of super-glue will be needed at some point. Note there are a number of different options out there for replacement Citroen/Peugeot key fobs - but this was the only one I found which had the correct shaped fitting for the key blade. It was a very simple job to switch from the old key to the new one.

Replacement for damaged original fob at a fraction of a branded one, when transferring the electronics board you also have to remove the small microchip which is difficult to see or you'll immobilise your car. Prompt delivery and works a treat.

Overall very good quality. The buttons are a little hard to press down compared to the original case. But it is not a problem. When replacing the unit, remember to get the small chip for the electronic key lock, it is easily removed with a small screwdriver.
