Fantastic watch at a very reasonable price. Accurate to half a second with perpetual calendar, multi time zones, stopwatch etc. It is stylish and lightweight. This Casio Wave Ceptor Titanium Radio Controlled Solar Powered Watch is a replacement for an earlier Casio Wave Ceptor which I had for nearly 11 years. I dropped it on a stone floor a few weeks ago which caused it to malfunction. The replacement had to be this new updated and improved Casio Wave Ceptor which I am delighted with. One great feature is that when you are travelling, you can set the hands of the watch to your new destination, say Havana, and retain London time in the digital display. The watch also has alarms and a timer and an led bulb to light the face in the dark. Also being solar powered you do not need to replace the battery. The radio controlled function operates in Canada, USA, Mexico, China, Japan, UK and Europe. Elsewhere it operates like a normal quartz watch with an accuracy of 15 seconds a month. Highly recommended.Read full review

Overcomplicated to set up. The plastic part around the bottom of the bezel and case is horrible and really spoils the look. The brushed titanium finish gets scuffed quite quickly. Alarm is not particularly loud. On the plus side, when the automatic radio reception works it keeps good time, it's light and comfortable, easy to adjust the strap, and it doesn't require a battery.

After adjusting the strap (which is a brilliant solution) it weighs 62 g. It also works fine on my thin wrist, synchronizing on the edge of the Mainflingen zone in just a few minutes, but with no sync in half a day. Buttons move lightly, they touch well and the LCD display is easy to read. The hourly beep sounds a bit quiet.

I am really pleased with my Waveceptor titanium watch. It is very lightweight and adjusting the strap length was a breeze with the supplied link remover. Unlike some of my heavier watches, I hardly notice it's there when I'm wearing it. It's very comfortable. The manual is quite technical but there are one or two useful Youtube clips which show how to set the time. It's accuracy is fantastic! I really like the illuminator light and the luminous hands and markers which make reading the time at night easy. Whilst Casio is not as highly regarded as some other watches - this model is on a par with the best of them. Fantastic value and a great-looking accurate watch. The only quibble I would have is the inclusion of a grey plastic trim on the under surface of the casing and where the casing meets the strap - however this is not a deal breaker and it doesn't detract significantly from the otherwise high aesthetic quality.Read full review

Excellent light weight watch, never needs a new battery or recharging. Accuracy unparalleled, it resets itself from the UK radio time signal (or the German, Japanese, or American ones for pretty much worldwide travelling. Setup is a bit confusing, you need to set it to your local time zone and do a manual reception. Manual is fine print, so get a magnifying glass or download the manual from Casio's website and zoom it on your computer screen. Came in a nice tin with a strap adjuster tool to remove/add segments.
