After getting fed up with scratching or chipping the glass of much more expensive watches - and then paying a fortune for repairs - several years ago I got myself a cheap and cheerful Casio. As opposed to just telling the time and looking nice, my Casio had an alarm and stopwatch, both of which were very useful to me. That must have been 30 years ago and I have worn Casios ever since. It's a standing joke with colleagues that they wear a "flash" watch which is far heavier, just tells the time, and cost them far more. My response is that my watch tell me exactly the same time, and also has other features. The strap broke on my previous Casio and it didn't take long to find out that buying a new watch would probably be cheaper than getting the strap fixed - so a quick browse on line and I came up with this, which is actually the same model that I had prior to my previous watch. Honestly, it's great. It keeps good time, has the alarm function, stopwatch, and, of course, a clear screen that tells time, date and day, and this model also has a light. I still have a "flash" watch for the right occasion, but for everyday use I wear this Casio and I cannot see me ever swapping back to another make. Recommended.Read full review
