Catherine Tate's character of Nan, or Joannie Taylor, in my opinion, is the best character she created in "The Catherine Tate Show". At first you'd think she is just like any other elderly woman, but the moment she opens her mouth, hilarity ensues. Never one to hide what she's really thinking, Nan will tell you in her foul-mouthed and funny way. And with grandson Jamie and Alice from the "Young and Old Buddy-Up Foundation", chaos is never far behind. For those leaving any reviews about being OTT with the swearing, clearly they don't get the humour. Nan is brilliant and it would have been great if Catherine Tate decides to bring the character back in her very own spin-off show, as these four specials were great. These 4 specials feature guest-star turns from Ben Miller, David Tennant, Roger Lloyd-Pack, Ami Metcalf and Warwick Davis as well as Catherine's co-stars from "The Catherine Tate Show" Matthew Horne and Nicky WardleyRead full review

Although entertaining the amount of swearing is a little over the top. It could still be funny with less swear words
