I originally borrowed this from my local library and liked it so much I decided to buy my own copy, as the title suggests this book is great if you want a challenging workout but have little space and no access to weights or other fitness equipment. The author wrote it whilst serving time in Pentonville. He didn't have much space or access to a gym so devised his own workout routines to stay in shape and combat boredom whilst inside. The book is divided into different sections and gives exercises ideas, just using your own bodyweight as resistance. So you have a section on abs, back, shoulders, legs etc, there are usually several different variations on the same exercise so you can choose the one that most appeals to you and there are variations that are more challenging and difficult that you can build up to. I do go to a gym but use this book nearly every day as a good way of toning up and building muscle and strength. There are clear, easy to follow pictures that show you what to do and the author tells you all the different muscle groups that are involved in the exercise, there is also a section on the importance of stretching and meditation at the end. Very pleased with my purchase and really this ends the excuse that you need loads of space or fancy equipment to keep in shape. Read full review
