This is a much loved series from the 1980s that I never thought I would see again as the DVD seems to have been delayed for decades. Terence Stamp is excellent as David Audley, the academic turned special agent and the supporting cast are agreeably sympathetic or entertainly villainous as required. The storylines (3 stories of two episodes each and John LeCarre light) are sometimes a bit far-fetched but, taken on their own terms, enjoyable and intriguing, The picture quality is a bit indistinct in places as it's obviously from an old recording but that's not an issue for an old-timer like me though it might be for someone who wants clear HD.
