Although interesting in part, all the evidence points to the whole purpose of the book not actually having happened. Well researched but, I feel the author, rather than trying to prove or disprove that a raid took place was almost willing it to be true. At that particular time in the war, any German incursion onto the British mainland or even the Isle of Wight, would have been exploited massively by the German High command, and seen as a huge success. All in all, an interesting story and worth a read, but that is what it is. A story.

Just utter rubbish - how this book was even published is beyond me. The author provides not one piece of credible fact, just maybes or irrelevant circumstantial padding. Using records, Sussex Pillbox has effectively demolished this gibberish on a web blog. Don't waste your money.

Very short on any real evidence a raid took place. Only hearsay and alot of irrelevant information.
