For minor chips and cracks away from the centre of the screen this is an economical and effective fix. The chips I had are now much less visible and more importantly they have been filled thus preventing further damage due to water, ice etc. The kit and instructions are quite straightforward and easy to use. The liquid is runny and sticky when first applied, but that is inevitable and with a little care should not be a problem.

The sheer poor quality of this item is atrocious to say the least. Followed the suckers don't create the necessary vacuum needed and the entire kit is definitely not fit for purpose. The only decent item in this kit is the blade, the remaining is useless. Spend the extra few quid and get a proper kit like the professionals use, it is definitely worth the extra few quid as I found out myself. I have done 3 repairs myself and this time I though I'd purchase a cheaper alternative and as soon as Opened the packaging I realised it was a mistake. Although I still followed the instructions and used my previous experience, this kit just does NOT provide the sufficient adherence to carry out the job at all.

My damage was the size of a five pence piece just outside the swept area of the screen. I did not want to pay the excess for ****glass so I had a go. I first familiarised myself with the kit and did a dry run in the house before attempting the repair for real. The instruction leaflet was excellent and when I felt confident, I started the job. Following the instructions and noting the bits about shade/sun/curing all went smoothly and the result was nearly perfection. Only one warning. It takes longer than is stated. Allow two hours total. But this is a small price to pay for an inexpensive repair and I think there is enough left over to do another!! Great.

I'd never done one myself before but have had several repairs by autoglass etc. The instructions were easy to follow and the materials are of pro standard. The only thing I would do differently next time is make sure to drill out the pit to ensure the hole is big enough for the resin to flow to every part of the bullseye. Having said that, even this first go is better than some of the pro jobs I've had done.

Fixed 2 chips with this kit, did take a while to dry, cheap as chips but did the job for the price of a pint of beer :) did not come with an alcohol wipe or a pin to get the chip cleaned up, so 3 stars ,not 5
