I always use D’Addario light strings as the best sound and feel for my needs. These coated strings last and last without the need for frequent replacement, making them more economic than uncoated. Using a hard plectrum may eventually wear away the coating a bit, but still bright and easy to play. I use a softish nylon 0.73mm ‘plecky’ so the coating lasts nearly forever.

I've tried other coated strings that Ive not liked, but the D'Addario combine the longevity with the brightness and impact. The NS tuner works really well and is so neatly tucked away inside the soundhole. It's also less exposed to interference from other instruments when getting in tune.

From someone who has played elixir nanowebs for a decade, I have to say I think lean more towards the brighter times this range offers.
