I liked that it was pretty much ready to use out of the box. There is a cross bar/rod that you have to locate in the legs which was a real pain as the ends are twisted slightly out of alignment which to be kind to the makers I assume is done deliberately to prevent it falling out but it would not surprise me if is just not made misaligned. I would be deterred from using the rod if I had to fold it up a lot. Apart from that it is very quick to put up and fold up so is ideal if you want a quick table top say when camping. IMHO it is not big enough for use as a pasting table and such. The support frame is very minimal and slightly flimsy - I expected it to be flimsy and though stable I was surprised, almost shocked, at how this is very weedy metalwise. I feel comfortable using the bench for lighter jobs like soldering but I would not like to try it with a heavy duty vice and some heavy hammering though it would probably stand up to some low level punishment such as hammering a nail through a piece of 2x2. Also it came with damaged corners which must have been factory inflicted because it had corner protective caps fitted. It is not a worry because soon the table will have loads of battle scars but it does indicate that the product control is poor unless the one I have is a second and hence the low price. Which brings me to my final point; it is possibly good value for £15 - £20 but if paying much more than that then a "proper" workbench would be a better bet unless you actually like the fact this folds up and is portable in which case I would say spend less and get a portable workbench for about a tenner.Read full review

Utter rubbish. Not worth £2 plus postage. Do not bid more than £3 max ...........but really to be avoided, as much less use than a chocolate teapot. At least you could eat the chocolate, whereas this is so flimsy it should never have been sold. My one had all the grub screws which attach top to base ripped out with big holes in the chipboard. I will not bother repairing it as it will rip apart as soon as it is used because the base is SO wobbly!

This product was fine for the work I wanted it to do i.e. Holding a chop saw or holding other tools and equipment while I worked. I was not expecting something top drawer because those tables are obviously much more expensive but for small jobs around my house it was perfect.

I was looking for a value-for-money work bench for the odd electronics project in my study. This table fits the bill well. It will fold away when not needed, is sturdy, a good height and area, and looks OK in a normal living space. I’m happy to recommend this product. Oh yes, it’s also quite lightweight - the 150kg tag is not the table’s weight - it’s the load it can support, I guess!?
