This review is my 'opinion' of this product, it has nothing to do with the seller whatsoever. What a great product.....if you like 'skating' into the surrounding furniture! The numpty that designed this mat obviously cannot or does not dance, if they did there would be a non-slip surface on the bottom of it and not just four sticky pads that do not stick to the base because it is obviously made of 'pure slippy' or something equally slippy. In my house we have carpets and wood floors, neither are any good at keeping this sucker in the same place for more than a few seconds, we even tried spray glue for carpets to stop the 'creep', but this sucker creeps more than a robber on a mission to steal the Mona Lisa (who incidentally was also not known for dancing, nor in-fact for designing dance-mats either, but I bet she fell over less) We tried to prop furniture in the way of it to stop it from moving, but it just climbed the side of the furniture. In the end we had to resort to kneeling behind it and holding the corners to constantly reposition it under the dancer, but then the software tells you to "Check your feet", how helpful, even the software wants to get you to crash around, maybe there are extra points for destroying your house as you travel around on the 'Magic Dance-mat', Aladdin never had one of these you know! At this precise moment I am thinking of nailing or bolting it to the floor, bolting is looking more favourable and practical as it would allow it to be removed when not in use, but does limit how the kids can use it without help or at a friend’s house, some people get fussy when you start drilling holes in their floors and knocking in chemical bolts or wedges, (can you believe that?) also do I use stainless or ferrous, hmmm can't decide! I know what will do it!!!! A built in rubber base.... dammit, why didn't I think of that earlier, gosh I feel so-oooo stupid, (much like the designer of this thing I should imagine,) tell you what I will go and check that in a previous life or something I wasn't the total moronically ungifted kno*j***y who came up with this particular design gem! still I suppose we should be grateful for small mercies as s/he could be designing cars or safety systems or elevators/lifts or transit systems (now there's a thought!)A letter to the manufacturer pointing out the ever helpful properties of rubber could be useful for their future design rollouts, thankfully they don't, (as far as I know anyway,) manufacture tyres or crampons, they should however look seriously at entering the sled market and possibly ski's, or maybe this is also their entry level item for multiple markets? I don't think that too much 'brain' was spent on this use, but then again maybe it was a first design and I'm being a little harsh on the T**t, Hmmmmm...uhhhhhh...no!. If brains and good design are money then the designer must be a serial bankrupt! So on a scale of 1-10 what do I really think of this product? Cutting out all of the thrust and stab of being taken for a total arse by the manufacturer what do I really think would I recommend this to you? Dammit, you know, errr, gosh well err okay NO. I would rather recommend to you that put your dangling appendage/s in a door and slam it repeatedly on it/them, but on the upside I do however like the colours and the others I've seen on the market are c**p too! Possibly the product of the same designer getting fired and employed at different companies. Hope this has helped.Read full review
Wasn't expecting this to work anywhere near as well as it did - I was looking for different something to exercise on while getting bored of Wii Fit and remembered I had an old PS2 dance mat somewhere. I didn't want to dance to 6 year old one hit wonders on the original dance game that came with the mat and remembered this coming out with the promise of dancing to your own CDs. It works way better than expected! Picks up a decent range of tracks/beats and creates a good range of dances from anything I've tried with it so far. Highly recommend Terrorvision if you want some pop-rock that's way more fun than Britney.
Havent Played The Game Ever But I Like Dance Games So Fort Id Buy This And See What Its Like Plus A Little Dance A Day Is Good Exercise
My daughter and I love to dance with playstation .Our disc had got broke ,some i purchased this to replace the one we had.
I love that you can add you own music. You can also see how many calories you use which is helpful when using it to lose weight. Different levels of difficulty. A good buy.
