Leads broken already
Bought this couple months back. Was working as intended until today where the leads broken from the wire. I was testing voltages on my car and was getting no reading until I saw the cables broke from the plastic bit where it connects to the metal rods. Please see pictures. Advice for buyers is keep the rods from twisting too much or it will wear and tear the wires inside and break off.

Surprisingly good quality
Its an 'el cheepo' little meter with a very good performance. Simple to use, robust, and easy to see on a crowded bench its more than good enough for all but precision work and cheap enough to throw away if it ever does go wrong. A Great Bit of Kit
Just purchased this as I need to identify the 12 volt system on my boat and also need to understand what is live and not. Scoured the web to find a suitable item but then came across this. For the money you pay, you will not get any better, it really is superb and works extremely well. I don't think it would compete with the professional testers on the market, but for the DIY er like me who needs just an occasional tester to do small jobs this really does step up to the mark. TEST METER..
I have bought a few of these test meters over the years, they have helped me greatly with car battery faults/tests/,so useful in i now have 3 of them on the go,Garage/Workshop/indoors for testing small batteries in cameras etc...not a day goes by without using one somewhere.!! More than good enough for my needs
This little gadget was just what I wanted, and more than adequate for my needs. I was looking for a simple multimeter , that was cheap enough to leave in my caravan. I wanted to use it in the first instance to check my solar panels and the state of my battery, but it will be useful for many more jobs that crop up.
