Originally bought to replace an old stick blender. Really impressed with the quality of this for the price. The features are something I would have expected from an item easily costing twice as much. The stainless steel gives it a nice feel and a sense of security when I'm making hot soups. I no longer have to wait for cooling down to blend, I can do it straight in the pot! Having used all of the accessories, I was not a big fan of the whisk. Perhaps it's more a learning curve for me, but whipping cream took ages and made a mess (flicking cream everywhere). The chopper worked fine when chunking up pieces of meat for my homemade dog food. It dealt with the heat & toughness of the meat, no problem. It did get a little hot with the blending tool while holding it when I was making some mayo, but so did my previous stick blender. I was in love with how quiet this is for the power. Also loving the little blue led around the power buttons to let you know it's plugged in & on. Was guess work with the last one. Here's hoping it gives me as many years as my last one. I would be surprised if it didn't!Read full review

I did get a year out of this blender. When the motor is working you only need to operate it for 30 seconds or less as it chops and blends fast. I liked the way the motor unit detaches from the stick blender and mini food processor. My unit sparked around the power button and died. I expect insulation inside the unit failed and it shorted. I have had several stick blenders including a £100 unit from the Ideal home show that I used for 15 years. That makes this unit expensive at £20 per year.

I have had this hand blender for a few weeks now and, so far, so excellently good! It is replacing a hand blender which must be dating back to the 50's or 60's but was still working after a fashion! I was getting fed-up with said blender hardly mashing any vegetable in a soup but splattering everywhere, so I went on line and ventured into buying this hand blender. I was pleasantly surprised, when it arrived, by its compactness, which meant it could fit neatly in between other, larger, appliances. The second pleasant surprise was its efficiency: a few seconds of using it was enough to pulverise all veggies in a soup into a perfect blend! The last, equally pleasant, surprise was the ease it took to clean the parts, all of which require no scrubbing, just a trip under the tap, a minimum wiping and drying and they are all as good as new! I am really and truly impressed and hope this almost miraculous piece of kit will last me as close to forever as it is possible!Read full review

This hand blender is just great, and not expensive at all I used to have Morphy Richards hand blender before this one, well I needed to replace my old blender when it broke with a new one and bought this Dihl hand blender instead this blender was meant only for a short period until I buy another brand hand blender, But ever since I tried this hand blender I don’t think I will buy another.
