I must first declare an interest; I worked in Aber from 1978 to 1982, so know a little of the town. I have read the previous books to this and revelled in the surrealist stories. The books are full of larger than life characters drawn from a wide range of backgrounds, many from 1940 gumshoe themes. I write this while less than half way through, but it is up to previous Pryce books. The story moves on at a good pace, well written, and most enjoyable. But I have one caveat. DON'T READ THIS BOOK UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE PREVIOUS ONES, AND THEN IN THE RIGHT ORDER.
Madness and mayhem strike North Wales again.Louis, Calamity and the Druid Maffia cause mirth and murder from moors to shore. Another sure fire hit from Malcolm Pryce.
