Very nice product to tidy our bins area, colour was perfect for us. The door catches are a little difficult to use but also a bit unnecessary for us so we tend to leave the doors unlocked. There was slight damage to the roof props and they are a bit flimsy so I used some of my own nails to strengthen it up, but no great problem really.

Easy to assemble, and all the relevant screws were in the box, but some of the wooden pieces had come apart due to short tacks. We rectified this with PVA glue. Also, the hinges are very soft and bend with hardly any pressure. On a positive note, the catch and lid prop are very useful during windy weather and the colour is great.

I read a few of the reviews that were not all that good. I found it easy to construct (yes it does need 2 people) and it looks nice now its placed in the garden hiding the bins. Some of these things are extremely expensive, so for the money it represents good value. The catches on the doors are perfectly Ok although they will only open when used properly. I haven't had the need to reinforce it but have added a few more screws to make it sturdier. All in all good for the money.

I compared the cost of these bin shelters with others on the market and decided that they looked to be good value and they are. When they are assembled they are sturdy enough to do the job and they look tidy and I am quite happy with them. They come pre-painted but it is more like a thin colour wash, so I gave them two extra coats of paint before putting them into service. They will stand up to the weather much better with the extra layers of paint, but be warned that painting them is a pain, with so many slats and edges and nooks and crannies, but the end result was worth it. The locking catches seem very flimsy and fiddly, so I will replace them with a sliding bolt. They don't need to have lockable catch, unless there is real risk of your wheelie bin being stolen. One thing I have found is that if you put the bins into the shelter front forwards so the handles are facing towards you when you want to pull the bins out, then you will have to reverse the bins put a little way each time you use them in order to raise the lids, as the opening top of the shelter is hinged too far forwards, hence the 4 stars not five. I tried putting the bins in the other way round so that the lids can raise properly, but the garden waste bin gets so heavy, that with the grab handles at the back it was almost impossible to move it. The bins with lightweight contents like plastics and cardboard etc are no problemRead full review

Cheap and cheerful. Definitely needs two to assemble it. Wood flimsy. Needs extra support at back top. Also needs locks changing, a simple swivel rabbit hutch clip top and bottom would have been better than the ‘Chinese puzzle box’ that we got!! One gust of wind blew them open. Have now replaced locks. Also so light weight it needs to be bracketed to a wall/fence.
