As always, Bill Bryson never let's you down. His witty and informative text lives up to his name. Even the most boring facts are turned into something really interesting and you don't want to put the book down until the very last word. Even though I have never shown much interest in travelling to Australia, I feel like I was with him every inch of the way. Highly recommended.

Absorbing book both funny and factual.

Informative but Bryson's humour is about on the level of a 12 year old and the personal encounters are dull. I didn't notice this in the much superior 'A Walk in the Woods'.

From page to page, very engaging, well though out, very hard to put book down, would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a great entertaining book, now hooked on Bryson books.
