The 500MB allowance per month is well suited to the occasional 4G user whose spends most of their time using their own wi- fi to surf the internet and who uses WhatsApp to minimise costs for chats, audio messages and video messages for both mobile data and their own wi-fi. This card can be topped up, even on PayAsYouGo, to enable conventional phone calls and SMS messages. The SIM card industry tries very hard to get everyone to pay for a minimum of 2GB per month. Most people do not need this much. If you use you own wi-fi when at home then this is essentially free. The trick is to enable "mobile data" only when you are out of the house.

Was ok but I wouldn't buy again. 500MB per month spread over 6 months is too inflexible for me. I now buy Data only SIM's with 20GB with 12 month longevity for my Car based WiFi. They normally only last about 7-9 months but usability and cost effective is great.

It depends on what you need a small amout of data for. What would make this product better is the EE data transfer offers for contract sims. Ideal for radio amateurs using network radio. Low data users who dont want a phone sim.

Very useful and great value item for those with low data requirements like mainly checking/sending emails+WhatsApp messages and medium WhatsApp voice call usage. 500 MB per month (no texts or minutes) any left over will be discarded and fresh 500MB loaded up automatically. So if you have lots/enough left in the last days it can be used for whatever, including video calls, YouTube etc..
