Quite surprised how robust this is. The small chuck did catch me out, but a larger replacement one can be bought for a fiver online (it's a B10 taper). It will drill 12mm holes through thin sheet steel with gentle pressure.

Perfectly adequate for the light work I put it to. Chuck runs true, useful speed control. Only thing lacking are lugs to screw it to the bench. Easily sorted though, by drilling countersunk holes in the table. (You will need a bigger powerful drill for this.)

The drill is fine but the assembly instructions definitely require some attention as the "chinese - english" is difficult to decipher. The pictures help. In the product specification, the phrase " The cent of the product has no class to adjust soon with single soon two kinds" had me baffled but I was later informed by the supplier that it means "the speed is not variable and it has two speeds only." Wrong on both counts.

My one can take a 0.5mm drill bit which is perfect for me with th3 amount of holes to be drilled for rivets. Smooth action and enough room to mount a 5” cross vice underneath.
